Not only do I enjoy taking pictures of cars, I also enjoy just walking around and snapping pictures of the scenery. Downtown Santa Cruz is a favorite haunt of mine because it has that kind of energy you get when you have corporate culture attempting to move in and gentrify the town, and the more colorful history of counter-culture pushing back. The result is an atmosphere where you can see both surfers and suits walking about at The Boardwalk.
It kind of reminds me of being a rebellious youth at Chinatown in Downtown Washington DC!
