Rain or shine, enthusiasts still find a way to gather and have a good time!
Last month, I was able to check out a small gathering in Orinda, California featuring a few vintage cars and sports cars. Though the gathering was much smaller compared to other shows I’ve been to, it made for a more intimate experience where I could take my time with my photography. I decided to use a Vivitar 70-205mm f/3.8 lens I found at a thrift store instead of the usual kit lenses so that I could get a little creative with my shots. This was the same lens that I used when I crashed the Concorso Italiano.
Even with the aperture stuck wide open, the lens can still take some very crisp images with a shallow depth of field!
